ESW Building Services Inc. is a construction and remodelling company operating in the Greater Toronto Area. The role is on site across commercial, institutional and residential settings with no remote option.
Job Responsibilities
- Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets and position them on metal or wooden studs or joists
- Apply successive coats of compound, sand seams and joints, and tape joints
- Install metal corner beads, lath, wire mesh and metal stud framing
- Finish corners and angles, mix plaster and work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages
- Read and interpret blueprints and utilise laser alignment systems
Requirements
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Own tools including hard hat, mask, safety glasses and steel-toed boots
- Ability to handle up to 23 kg, work at heights, and meet physical demands including bending, kneeling and standing
- English language proficiency
