Job Responsibilities
- Administer IV medications in line with treatment protocols
- Develop skills to administer cytotoxic chemotherapy regimens and other specialist treatments
- Work across The Meadows and Medical Day Unit providing blood and other infusions
- Be flexible to meet the demands of the outpatient units
- Ensure adherence to trust policies, protocols and procedures
- Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Manual Handling, Infection Control and Fire Safety measures
Requirements
- Essential: First Level registration, post registration experience, clinical skills in cannulation, venepuncture and blood transfusions
- Essential: Full current UK Professional registration and working within a UK NHS Trust
- Desirable: UKONS SACT Passport or willingness to undertake, previous experience in haematological or oncological care
