Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients wellbeing and escalate physical or psychological concerns
• Plan, deliver and evaluate individualised care programmes
• Monitor mental and physical wellbeing and contribute to safeguarding
• Maintain effective communication with the multidisciplinary team, service users and carers
• Involve service users and relatives in care decisions where feasible
• Support junior staff and take charge of the ward as needed
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence based practice

Requirements

• RMN or RLDN registration
• At least 1 years experience in a mental health inpatient ward in the NHS or private sector in the UK
• Must have passed preceptorship period
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays
