Job Responsibilities
- Assist with routine elective lists in the cardiac catheter labs from Monday to Friday
- Scrub and circulate for cardiac procedures including angiography and angioplasty
- Support recovery of adult and paediatric patients after procedures
- Provide 24-hour on-call service for emergency and urgent cases once trained
- Promote high standards of nursing care and multi-disciplinary working
- Complete competencies during the supernumerary induction period
Requirements
- Essential: Qualified Nurse (Degree or Diploma)
- Essential: Registered nurse on the appropriate part of the register
- Essential: Knowledge of current issues in the acute Health Service
- Desirable: Previous experience or qualification in the relevant specialty
- Applicants must have current UK professional registration
