Job Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for patients in the community
• Manage caseload elements and take responsibility for the team in the absence of the Community Nursing Sister
• Work flexibly across the 08:00 to 22:00 service covering seven days
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other agencies
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to clinical audit
• Support newly qualified and international staff through the preceptorship programme where relevant

Requirements

• Essential: RGN with full NMC registration (including OSCE pass for overseas applicants)
• Essential: full valid UK driving licence and access to a car for business use (unless exempt by disability)
• Essential: strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Desirable: caseload management experience and professional development evidence
