About the Employer

Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital services across Dorset and Somerset. The Stroke Service is expanding with a new Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, time-critical stroke care across the pathway
• Provide expert nursing support in hyper-acute, acute and early rehabilitation settings
• Work with the multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients
• Contribute to education, audits and evidence-based practice
• Support safe patient care during expansion of the service

Requirements

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience or interest in stroke or acute care preferred
• Ability to work full-time or flexible patterns as required
• Commitment to high standards of patient care

Visa Sponsorship and International Applicants

This role is eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. The Trust welcomes applications from individuals who require sponsorship to work in the UK. Sponsorship will be offered subject to meeting UKVI eligibility criteria.
