Job Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Tape over joints and install metal corner beads
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids
• Clean and prepare surfaces

Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 2 to 3 years of experience
• Ability to handle up to 23 kg and work in physically demanding conditions
• English language

LMIA requested (under review), not yet approved. The employer could not find a Canadian worker and applied for an LMIA. Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents with a valid work permit can apply. Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.

Salary and Benefits

• $38.40 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
• Shifts including morning, day, evening, weekend
• Starts as soon as possible
