Job Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets and metal stud framing
• Apply joint compound, tape, sand and finish seams, corners and surfaces
• Install corner beads, lath and ornamental plaster elements
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Work at heights on scaffolding and supervise or instruct apprentices
• Prepare surfaces and utilise laser alignment systems

Requirements

• Essential: 3 to less than 5 years of experience
• No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Must own hard hat, mask, safety glasses and steel-toed boots
• Able to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg, work at heights and under pressure
• English language required
